Michele's Hawaii Retreat was a deeply profound, beautiful, fulfilling and amazing experience. She is a highly skilled, gracious, compassionate, caring, loving, organized and approachable shamanic practitioner, ceremonialist, leader and guide. It was very apparent that she has a deep connection with the earth, ocean, trees, whales, dolphins and all the wonderful spirits of Hawaii. The whale watching, snorkeling, respectful ceremonies at the Hawaii sacred sites, guided meditations and discussions were all very interesting and illuminating on so many deep spiritual levels. Thank you, so much, this trip was life changing, validating, transformative and did indeed clear blockages and deepened my awareness.

When I signed up for the retreat for Hawaii with Michele, there was no way I could have imagined the profound change it would have in my spiritual development. From the magic of Kealakekua Bay, to the transformational power of witnessing Pele at the Volcano park, and meeting a volcano priestess, the creative energy that this trip awakened continues to open doors. Working with Michele is always an adventure and great learning opportunity. Michele’s great connection with the land and the higher realms helped each of us connect to the energies we normally wouldn’t. She has the nearly perfect blend of traditional teaching methods combined with experience working with the western mind. This trip to Hawaii was intense, beautiful, and magical. Despite this being her first retreat, Michele knew exactly how much to do, what not do, and how far to push us without overload. Many first timers make that mistake. Michele helped each of us to go deeper into our learnings and spiritual journeys both as a group and as individuals and maintained her composure and her truth throughout. During this magnificent trip we worked with whale and dolphin medicine, connected with the great power of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, and saw Pele dance in the smoke of the volcano. The gifts and beauty of Hawaii carry Aloha and we were blessed to connect with it. Snorkeling with dolphins, sea turtles, and a shark was amazing and the trip to see the whales was full of deep connection and clearing. We saw many Heiau and sang songs honoring the land connecting with the magic of Hawaii. Everything about this trip included subtle and constant magic and medicine and at the same time was deep and powerful. Everything from the many geckos in the house, to the mongoose on the grounds, to the wild peacock by the side of the highway pointed to the big energies all around without overwhelming us. “Downloading” knowledge and energy can be overwhelming quite easily, yet we were all able to learn our individual lessons and connect to the big medicines while feeling supported both physically and spiritually.

SPIRITUAL RETREAT JOURNEY IN AND AROUND SANTA FE NEW MEXICO

During a 3 day intensive learning and healing session with Michele, I was able to connect to the trees, desert earth, and stones more deeply than ever before assisting me to heal some deep wounds and access the gifts that had been out of my reach. I have a stronger, more pure connection to the divine on earth than I ever remember having. I feel healthy, grounded, and strong. My thoughts are clear and my senses are open and acute. With Michele’s help, I was able to release the fear and depression that has plagued me my entire life. The issues holding me back in life have dissolved and been cleared and replaced with an awareness of spirit and an adventurous heart. In addition to helping me heal, Michele also introduced me to the various cultural and magical aspects of Santa Fe (and the best restaurants too). The sacred sites in and around Santa Fe truly hold magic in them. Michele also helped me connect with the Native people, the pueblos, and the meaning of their art as well as Our Lady of Guadalupe. I received many lessons from nature as well, seeing hawks and vultures, elk and horse tracks, and beautiful rainbows and thunderstorms. Michele helped me see the magic in the land. These intensive sessions will benefit anyone, whether an experienced healer or someone just looking for a magical experience of transformation. SHAMANIC HEALING EXPERIENCE

Doing shamanic healing with Michele is an amazing adventure. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on and is able to help in nearly every situation. Michele has been all over the world and worked with people from many belief systems and walks of life. She gives everyone respect and compassion. Shamanic healing works on all levels of our being from our surface issues to our deep seated soul wounds. I have been studying shamanic healing with Michele for 4 years. I have a connection to Spirit on a level I never expected. Every day I see magic in the world all the while walking a path that brings success and fulfillment. Gone is my insomnia, depression, random anxieties, and fears. I am more balanced and happier than I have ever been and I now get to help others having become a shamanic practitioner myself. Training with her as my teacher and healer has been a grand adventure.. ​I am a big fan of synchronicities and omens. They are gifts from the Great Mystery which illuminate our journey and serve as an undeniable confirmation that we are on the right path. They remind us that a force far greater than our egos is calling the shots and directing the show. When I first started working with Michele, she mentioned to me that synchronicity is a way of life for her. I knew I was in the right place. Michele performed a ceremony to reunite me with 2 power animals--1 for my inner child, and a few weeks later another for my adult. I was not able to clearly perceive either animal myself; she however saw 2 leopards, a baby and an adult. She wanted me to feel a connection with my power animals, so she postponed the completion of the power animal return and asked me over the next week to sense into whether the leopards felt right to me. A few years ago I began a collage to help heal my Inner Child, and I completed it a few months before I began working with Michele. Shortly after the 2nd shamanic journey, my girlfriend was looking at the collage, and pointed out a picture that caused my jaw to drop-- a mother leopard lovingly licking her cub!!!! With utmost skill, without fanfare, Michele guides me towards greater wholeness and awareness of the unseen (to most of us) realms and forces that already shape my life and world. Her training as a psychotherapist beautifully complements her shamanism. I am grateful that I found her and have the privilege of working with her.

I have worked with Michele on clearing issues that prevent me from having a consistent contact with the spirit world. One night, sitting in mediation I had a lot of visions of animals. I could definite see the shapes in a diffuse energy sort of way. After meditation, I lay down to sleep, but continued in a meditative state most of the night. Finally, I feel asleep for about 45 minutes. I awoke in the meditative state; however, it was much more than that. I had stepped into an alternate reality. As I looked up, I saw a beautiful flying eagle. No diffuse energy here—absolute clarity. I felt that energy of soaring. I watched the eagle for a suspended amount of time. It finally dove down, and morphed into a bear, which stood for a moment and walked to the left. Suddenly a radiant white horse appeared. It was scintillating!! I noticed the full moon and how much light radiated from it to the Field I was in. The horse stood for a moment and I saw an owl on the ground by the horse. This experience gave me hope for my journey and showed me a real paradigm shift in another dimension is not only possible but there waiting for me to enter.
SOUL RETRIEVAL SESSIONS
The above access to the wonderful animal medicines and energies came after doing a soul retrieval because of my fear of working with the spiritual realm. Michele did a soul retrieval that ended up reclaiming a Native feminine energy who was connected to Native ways of spirituality that had frozen after the violent takeover of Native people and lands. The next session we did for integration was because of another dream I had around the female and male energies that Michele helped me not only understand but integrate in a ceremony in the spiritual realms. I am a lesbian woman who identifies being more male. In this second dream my common theme of “evil out to get me” was playing its dance. I knew I had to make my escape so jumped on a bike, and then had the hopeless feeling. I looked down and was on a girl’s bike, which had NO gears. I knew I needed by boy’s 18 gear bike to get up the impending hill in front of me. This dream showed up after a soul retrieval of the Native American dissociated female aspect of myself and clearly showed how I needed to shift my underlying belief that women do not have power. I am continuing to work with Michele to invite transformation of the fear that drives that belief, which is rooted in other lifetimes from the treatment of women and native spiritual ways during the takeover. Michele’s ability to see and assist me to transform the deep shadow parts of my psyche that have not allowed me to totally live in wholeness after all the work I have done, has been profound.
